Major Arcana Tarot Cards: A Quick Guide to All 22 Cards

The Fool's Journey in One Paragraph
The 22 Major Arcana cards are not random. They tell a story — a journey from innocence to mastery. The Fool (card 0) steps off a cliff with nothing but a small bag. He doesn't know where he's going. Over the next 21 cards, he meets teachers (The Hierophant), faces desire (The Lovers, The Devil), survives collapse (The Tower), finds hope (The Star), and learns to integrate all of it (The World). Reading Major Arcana is just tracking where someone is on this arc.
The Fool → Magician → High Priestess → Empress → Emperor → Hierophant → Lovers → Chariot
▲ Learning the Rules
Strength → Hermit → Wheel of Fortune → Justice → Hanged Man → Death → Temperance
▲ Facing Yourself
Devil → Tower → Star → Moon → Sun → Judgement → World

How to actually use this guide
Don't memorize it. Keep it open on your phone during readings. When you pull a Major Arcana card, ask yourself two questions: What part of the Fool's Journey am I on right now? And is this card showing where I am, or where I need to go?
The answer is usually in the gap between those two things.
