Most people who say "tarot doesn't work" have never actually asked tarot a good question.
They pull three cards for "does he love me," then another three for "is he thinking about me," then another three for "will he come back." Three different questions, three different answers. The cards aren't inconsistent. The questions are.
Stop asking about other people's inner lives.
Cards can't crawl inside someone else's head. What they can do is show you what's happening in your own situation—what you're ignoring, where you're stuck, what direction things are heading if nothing changes.
Flip the subject of the question from "him" to "me" and the answers start making sense instantly.
When you ask "does he love me," you're asking for a yes or no about something happening inside another person. The cards will give you something—they always do—but you end up reading into it, twisting every symbol to fit what you want to hear.
When you ask "what am I not seeing," the cards point at your blind spots. That's information you can actually use.
There's a pattern here. Bad questions put the answer in someone else's hands. Good questions put the answer in yours.
Here are five templates. Steal them. They work for almost any situation.
"What energy am I bringing into this situation right now?"
Good when you're feeling reactive and need to check yourself before you act.
"What's one thing I'm refusing to admit about this?"
Good when you've been going in circles and nothing changes. There's usually a truth you're dodging.
"If I keep doing what I'm doing, where is this heading?"
Good for career, relationships, any long-term thing where you need a checkpoint.
"What needs my attention that I've been neglecting?"
Open-ended enough to surprise you. The answer is rarely what you expected.
"What's the lesson here that I'm not quite getting yet?"
For when you keep running into the same problem with different people or different jobs. The common denominator is you.
Write it down. Don't edit it. Don't immediately pull more cards because you didn't like the first answer.
Come back to it the next day. Read your question again. Read what the cards showed you. With 24 hours of distance, you'll almost always see something you missed the first time.
